Kanzashi are used as a decorative piece in one's hair when put up in a bun.  These are typically popular during Bon Dance season but can be worn at any time.  Some of these were made in collaboration with my cousin at KeiSakura Designs (I did the crochet pieces and my cousin put everything together).  Others were made solely by myself.
